Did you know there are many herbs that are great companion plants, keeping other plants healthy if grown together?  Companion planting is a natural pest control method that has been used for centuries.

We plant a row of Parsley along the edge of our Rugosa Rose bed – helps the Roses and makes a pretty border.  Another nice thing about this Rose bed is that the Hyacinths are usually blooming right about the time the Parsley is planted and makes for ever-so-pleasant working conditions.

It’s easy to tuck a few herbs here and there among your plants to keep them happy and healthy.  They’ll keep you happy and healthy too!
